Food Integrity Assurance (FIA) was established by SAOS in 2022 to deliver best in class independent assurance services with a client centric business culture. This involves identifying mutual development opportunities and mitigating reputational risk of food and farming partners, Scheme owners and the brands they underpin.
All services are delivered cost effectively with the added benefit that any profit from assurance services delivered in Scotland will reinvested back into the Scottish food and farming sector.
FIA have recently gained accreditation from the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to ISO 17065 standards for the following Schemes.

• Quality Meat Scotland Marts & Collection Centres
• Quality Meat Scotland Haulage
• Quality Meat Scotland Processing Scheme
• Scottish Quality Crops
